Project test pilot in FLYSAFE

FLYSAFE is a project to design, develop, implement, test and validate a complete Next Generation Integrated Surveillance System (NG ISS). USE2ACES is performing various test pilot activities within the FLYSAFE project and chairs an external expert advisory group.

FLYSAFE focuses on the three types of threats to civil aircraft: traffic collision, ground collision, and adverse weather conditions. FLYSAFE integrates systems and functions such as: situation awareness systems, advance warning systems, alert prioritisation, and new human-machine interfaces.

USE2ACES performs the role of the project test pilot during the four years of the project. USE2ACES' background allows us to be involved from the preliminary design phase, the product development and certification phases. Finally we are able to support the project team with a preliminary end-user perspective.
